Anthem is a cooperative action RPG developed by Bioware and published by EA
While development on Anthem has stopped, the live service continues to run. However, nothing has been stated publicly about how long into the future payers can expect to be able to connect to the game's servers. The game remains on patch version 1.7.0 since February 2020 with virtually no bug fixes or improvements to the game made since then. Communication from Bioware regarding Anthem has ceased leaving the game's community without deserving explanations and information. It is important that EA and Bioware address the concerns of their customers and are held to a standard of accountability.
Many Anthem players feel the game has been left in an unfinished state and did not meet expectations set by the developers regarding launch, post-launch content, and improvements to the game known as NEXT. Questions do remain in the playerbase as to whether Anthem will ever receive an update again, including the unreleased work on NEXT, or if a different studio can continue work on the game.
We encourage you to contact EA customer support at help.ea.com to voice any concerns you have regarding Anthem's content, technical issues, and feedback etc.
